what we do

We are working across architectural practice, research and education, exploring how cities can be shaped through collaboration and care. We develop site-specific responses to the environmental, economic and social pressures affecting urban life.

Through fieldwork, mapping, workshops, co-design, making and public events, we aim to create projects that build local capacity, support knowledge exchange and strengthen relationships between communities, institutions and the built environment. Rooted in an idea of slow architecture, our approach values long-term engagement, careful observation and sustained collaboration. We see design as a way to reveal existing knowledge, connect people and resources, and imagine more inclusive, equitable and resilient urban futures.

We are committed to challenging the boundaries between practice, education and civic life, and to developing long-term frameworks that remain useful to participants beyond the duration of each project.
